Dr Choo is a medical doctor and the founding pastor of Gospel Light Christian Church in Singapore. He has retired from the pastorate in 2006 and now chairs the Church Mission Board.
Dr Choo is now 68 years old and spends most of the year traveling around Asia preaching and supervising hundreds of missionaries and churches. He is particularly involved in China, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. For instance, in Philippines his team of 50 full time and 50 part time campus workers ministers in nearly 100 college, university and high school campuses in 35 cities and 8 islands. It was through the preaching and influence of Dr Choo that our own pastor Paul Ferguson was called by the Lord to serve full time.
