Advisory Pastor Paul Ferguson

The Rev Dr Paul Ferguson is the pastor of Cornerstone Church, Singapore. He was born in Northern Ireland and brought up in the Free Presbyterian Church of Ulster, where his father served as a Minister in the London congregation. Having read Biochemistry at Queen’s University of Belfast, and Law at King’s College, University of London, he was then admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor at The Law Society of England and Wales, and practised Corporate Law for five years at Hogan Lovells, an international law firm, in London.

Heeding God’s call to full-time service, he underwent theological studies at Foundations Theological Seminary, Dunn, North Carolina, and graduated with a Master of Religious Education (MRE) and Doctor of Religious Education (DRE). Pastor Paul is also author of God and the Atheist and he blogs regularly at http://oldfaith.wordpress.com/ where he has devotional, apologetic, and Bible Study materials. He is married to Cheryl Pang and they have two children—Sarah Anne and Samuel Gordon.

His life verse is Psalm 115:1, “Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake.”

Elder Boaz Boon

Elder Dr Boaz Boon is an elder of Cornerstone Church and Advisor of its Young People’s Fellowship. He conducts catechism classes for new believers and occasionally assists the Pastor in preaching during Worship Service and Prayer Meeting. Elder Boon is also co-author of Amazing Grace: Three Ordinary Lives Transformed by One Saviour’s Amazing Love. He is married to Cheryll and they have two sons — Amoz and Abel.

His life verse is John 15:7, “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”
